Help our Providence House Community GROW!

Providence House is expanding it’s Homeless Services program to serve even more families by opening our new Glenmore Residence in East New York. Once completed, this facility will provide 59 units of housing for families experiencing homelessness. Your donation towards our Garden of Hope will help each family find safety, build capacity, and become empowered.

Here are some tunes from our talented supporters

Mezzo NYC is an all-star, all-female A Capella group that performed at last year’s People of Hope as well as our holiday event, Season of Hope. We can’t say enough great things about these incredible women!

Steve Salerno and Vanessa Trouble have been serenading the Providence House community throughout the years! We’re so grateful for their continued support.

A MESSAGE FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR DANIELLE MINELLI PAGNOTTA:

Dear Friends,

The outpouring of pain, grief, and outrage we see in our city and country in recent days highlights more than ever the need for non-violence and compassion in our world.  Every day brings more stress and images of turmoil that remind us how much work is ahead for individual and community healing. Providence House has long been committed to advancing social and racial justice by providing women and families with a safe place and the tools and skills to advance themselves, while working toward greater availability of services, criminal justice reform, and policies that assist the most vulnerable.  These are obviously goals that can only be pursued in an open and collaborative community.  I am grateful that our residents, volunteers, donors, board, and staff are just such a community.

You have my commitment that we will continue striving to keep our organization responsive and proactive.  We will continue reaching out to even more women and families; providing opportunities for stability, healing, and empowerment; and advocating for the types of programming that let our communities lift themselves up.  Most importantly, we’ll stay focused on Providence House’s core values of community, hospitality, non-violence, and compassion.  Stay safe and be well.

With gratitude,
