VOLUNTEER Volunteers complement our staff and support our mission by participating in a wide variety of tasks depending on their particular skills. Our volunteer program is flexible, striving to meet the needs of both the volunteer and Providence House.
Volunteers Those individuals who are interested in an extended volunteer experience - usually lasting one year - must be 21 years and older. You will receive a monthly stipend, room and board, and options for health coverage. Short-Term Volunteers: Those individuals who would consider a shorter time commitment - usually lasting from one week to 2 months - must be 18 years and one year out of high school. Room and board (if needed) offered. Summer volunteers can start anytime from May 31st. Special Volunteer Projects: Project proposals are considered throughout the year depending on need. Projects in the past have ranged from construction, decorating, landscaping to a back to school supply drive for our students. So Come and Join A Place With A Heart!
