Congregate Programs Four congregate residences, located in Brooklyn, Queens and Westchester provide transitional housing and support to homeless and abused women and their children. Professional staff link residents to support services in the community, assist with basic life skills and help them obtain permanent housing. A core community of religious Sisters and lay women live in each of the six congregate houses and participate in every day life with residents.

Apartment Program Located in Brooklyn, our transitional apartments have
a capacity for 15 mothers and 42 children, and provide each family with their
own separate apartment. Professional staff who provide case management, housing
services and around-the-clock security link residents to support services in the
community, assist with basic life skills and help them obtain permanent housing.
A child care center, adjacent to the apartments, provides child care for these
mothers, allowing them to attend medical appointments, go on job interviews and
seek permanent housing.
